My name is Michael Cookson, and I am a Leeds based freelance sound engineer, web designer and electronic engineer. I have a keen interest in mathematics, physics, computing, engineering and music, and constrantly strive to gain further experience and expand my base of knowledge.

I pride myself on my professionalism, dedication, reliability and communication skills, as well as my ethical, hard working and friendly nature. All of which have proven themselves on countless occasions when either working alone or as part of a team.

I completed two major projects as part of my course. First an individual project entitled "The Design of a Hand Held Monitor for the Digital Multiplexing Standard DMX512" and the second being a group project within which I designed and implemented an Active Noise Reduction system.

GCSE

Grade B or better in Maths, Physics, Chemistry, Geography, ICT, English, English Literature, D&T: Systems & Control and Biology. Grade C in short course RE.
